I purchased two of these cases for both of my Tilts. One was a clear front the other is colored. Neither phone has been dropped yet so I cannot attest to the protection they would offer if that would happen. However these covers have performed exactly as described. No they do not protect the screen. That is not what they are designed to do, screen protectors protect the scren, these protect the case of the phone. The clear covers only drawback comes from the fact that the plastic is clear and you can see some slight molding lines in the cover, also dust particles are visible through the clear part, obviously. Other than that the clear cover functions just as good as the colored one. The cases are very easy to pull off and put back on, if you follow the instructions no problem at all. I remove the clear cover quite often to clean underneath it and have never had an issue at all. Another thing you might consider when getting this case is that it will not prevent the screen from sliding. If you need to have a case that will ensure the screen does not open or that you wont smash the sliding screen against the base of the phone, (like throwing it in a book bag or something) I would suggest an aluminum case that closes around the phone itself. Other than that I find these covers coupled with screen protectors are great.

Practically impossible to remove w/o damaging your tilt

Pros:	Its a way to make your tilt different colours
Cons:	More a skin than a case. Doesnt come off or protect screen.

This thing looks good, feels good, but it doesnt really protect. Pop this in a pocket and youll tear your screeen up in short order, as theres no protection of it. And getting it off without damaging your unit is tough business. I nice way to customize and swap colours, though.
