The actual software on the device is pretty nice. It works really well and is comparable to a garmin device. I am keeping it. The best part about it is you can copy it to a different memory card, so if you like me, have 6g of music, you can add this too.
I couldnt get the copilot desktop companion to work. I was trying to install from the DVD and it just wouldnt happen, kept getting stuck with a .net error.

Pros:
If I can get it going it looks good although ALK has been unresponsive to how to make corrections
Cons:
Will not work with the PPC-6800 unless a seperate GPS receiver is attached
Want it to work bad but manual is not detailed enough to know what to do. Manufacturer is unresponsive. I bought it to run on my PPC-6800 phone from Alltel but Alltel has not turned on the GPS chip yet like Sprint and others. A message to the manufacturer has not been answered to this point on just how to fix where my house is on the mobile device. To make it work with the GPS requires a GPS receiver which is not noted in the advertising.
